About Me

Cheyenne Brown is a graduating Senior at Hampton University, majoring in Journalism with a minor in Political Science. As a proud Baltimore, Maryland native, she has built a diverse portfolio in broadcast, print, and digital media. At Hampton, Cheyenne has served as a writer, reporter, block producer, and creative director for WHOV-TV 's commercial team. She also used her voice as a radio personality for WHOV-FM radio, with a focus on local, national, international, sports, and kicker stories. She has written more than 15 print news stories, produced four news packages, and continues to sharpen her storytelling skills across multiple platforms.  

Cheyenne's professional experience included an summer internship with WBAL-TV 11 News in Baltimore, where she gained hands-on experience by associate producing for a fast-paced newscast for eight weeks. Outside of journalism, Cheyenne served as a Media Marketing Intern at Morning Star Baptist Church from 2024 to 2025. During her internship, she created digital campaigns and promotional content to engage and enhance the "Morning Star Experience."

With the passion of storytelling that uplifts, informs, and inspires, Cheyenne is the visionary behind her platform and brand, "Cheyenne The Producer." A future production and network studio designed to provide a creative, honest, and strategic platform for voices that deserve to be heard. Her mission is to highlight every community, success, and challenges through innovative content that goes beyond traditional journalism.

In the future Cheyenne aspires to become an Executive Producer for a local or national news station. Within the role, she will shape the stories, vision, and integrity of each newscast while upholding the standards of the station or company. Alongside this career path, she plans to launch her own production studio as she blends her creativity with her commitment to truth, representation, and community impact.
